About Alan F. Alan McBride was born September 13th, 1963 in Muskogee, OK a true, "Okie from Muskogee". He started his music career at the ripe old age of 5 years old, learning to play bass guitar and singing in his fathers Country & Western band. Alan said, "his first public performance that he can remember was at Webber Falls High School Auditorium in Webber Falls, OK at 5 years of age". Alan continued to play country music in his dads band until he moved to Vian, OK to live with his mother and then played a little while with his step-dad, playing western swing. Alan quit school when he was 14 and went to work training Quarter Horses in Sallisaw, OK. Later on the family moved to Locust Grove, OK and He went back to school for a short time before dropping out, when he became addicted to alcohol, marijuana and drugs, a teenage alcoholic, which he hid very well from his family. Alan said , that "as far as he knows, mom never knew about the bad stuff until after he had been saved for quite awhile". But because of the bible teaching of his mom, Alan gave his life to Jesus. Testimony Alan gave his life to Jesus Christ when he was 16 years old and had a true Born Again experience with his Lord! Alan: I came home one night after drinking and Lord knows what else, but I will never forget mom meeting me at the door. She grabbed me and shook me asking what was wrong with me and of course I wouldn't tell her. She continued to ask me until I blew up and threatened to "knock her head off", and if you know me , you know I am not a little guy and I haven't changed much since I was 16. Well that bothered me all night long, the fact that I drew back my fist to hit my own mother. After the house and my room spun all that night, I finally passed out and then woke up the next day to an empty house. I went into the living room and set down on our couch and wondered were everyone was. It was then I noticed a book lying there, with a picture on the front cover of a man, in a black & white stripe prison suit and he was standing behind the prison bars. (or at least that's what I remember.) The book was titled "WANTED" by Richard David Coss. I picked up the book and remember thinking to myself that "I should probably read up on prison, because that was where I was headed anyway"! So I read the book, and it told of all the terrible things this man had done, how many times he was arrested and served time, his FBI number and how he went to prison and so on, it was some pretty bad stuff! Then I begin to read how some ministers came into the prison and how this man gave his life to Jesus Christ and that all his sins were forgiven, and how that he received a presidential pardon, and now preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His website is--christbarsnone.com. After reading this I felt the loving conviction of the Lord and heard Jesus call my name, and there, knelt down at that old couch, I gave my life and soul to Jesus! I knew how to pray, I just never had need to before, or so I thought. I will never forget after giving my life to Jesus that day, asking Him to come into my life and forgive me of all my sin, and thanking Him for dying on Calvary and Praising God for raising Him from the Dead. How that I went outside, and all things had changed, the sky was more blue, the grass was greener, the air was fresh and clean, and even the blacktop was blacker, all things had became brand new. I could tell in my heart, my soul, my mind, and even my body that I had been born again. Soon my friends came with more alcohol, marijuana and drugs and because of the overwhelming love of God that I could feel inside of me now, I was able to say "No, I Can't Go" and I began to witness to them and they did not understand, nor wanted too. So my best friends left me! Thank You Jesus for not only becoming my Lord and Savior, but you became my friend! Soon after, that very evening, I realized that the craving that I once had for alcohol was also gone, and I have never wanted that life style again! Thank You Lord! Ministry Alan began his ministry immediately, playing and singing in Gospel music quartets. He began to notice that when he would play and sing that the anointing of the Lord would begin to move on him to speak, and hold alter services during singings and concerts, and he seen many people coming to the Lord, being healed and delivered. So at the age of 18, Alan answered the call into the ministry and accepted the fact that God was calling him to preach His word, and feels that God told him, "That one day, the ministry would supply all your needs", simply meaning that Alan would be a full time minister of the Gospel. In answering that Word from the Lord, Alan has ministered in over half of the United States, becoming an "Ordained Minister", Pastoring 2 churches, recording 3 Cd's, leading hundreds to Christ, experiencing miracles, seeing lives delivered and set free, with signs and wonders following. All of this while living in Gods Will and Favor! The words God spoke to Alan came true in 2001, when Alan and Lissa accepted and stepped into Full time ministry and now are full time Evangelist with over 25 years of ministry experience, ministering in all denominations. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is a "perfect gentlemen" and is more evident today, leading them thru new doors and to higher plains as they sing and preach Gods Word wherever a door has been opened.
